What the Thin Orange Line Represents
The Thin Orange Line is a Construction Angels symbol used to represent construction workers who have lost their lives while working on the job and the families affected by those losses.
The orange line represents the construction worker and the construction industry. The black lines above and below it serve as mourning bands, creating a black-orange-black symbol that honors workers killed on the job.
The idea follows the tradition of other “thin line” symbols used to remember fallen members of a profession. For Construction Angels, the Thin Orange Line carries a specific message: fallen construction workers are not forgotten, and the construction community stands with their surviving families.
