On behalf of Construction Angels, thank you for taking a moment to learn more about our mission — a mission born from the reality that every life lost in construction leaves behind a family forever changed.
Construction Angels is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing immediate financial assistance and other essential support to the children (age 19 and younger) and spouses left behind when a construction worker suffers a work-related fatality. These families are the heart of our mission, and they need our support more than ever.
With over 7.2 million individuals working in construction, it is critical to understand the risks that come with building the world around us. According to OSHA, more than 5,000 workplace fatalities occur annually in the U.S., and over 20% of those are in construction. These are not just numbers — they represent the very people who build our roads, homes, schools, and communities, and who rebuild our lives after disasters.
Since our founding in June 2011, Construction Angels has provided over $2,580,000 in financial aid, family support, and scholarships to families in their greatest time of need. This impact is made possible only through the generosity of our donors, sponsors, volunteers, and partners nationwide. Our commitment extends beyond immediate aid. Over the next five years, we aim to expand our national presence, raise awareness, promote job site safety, and grow our scholarship program. Our goal is to support families, reduce fatalities, and foster a culture that values and protects our construction workforce.
